PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Jun 2014-Feb 2015 Geo-Alliance, Poltava, Ukraine Consultation and Project Management

Provided consultation and project management for the first fracturing operations completed by Geo-Alliance in Ukraine. The scope of work initiated immediately after the fracturing contract was awarded. All workover and well completions procedures and job requirements were documented for site specific wells. The purchasing process took place through a purchasing department and then our project team helped review and award the work. I worked with the team of Geo-Alliance and an additional contractor to supervise every facet of the tubing configuration, packer, and wellhead through control of the fracture pumping schedule and coiled tubing cleanouts/drill outs.

2011-March 2014 KUB-Gas LLC Technical Director starting August 2012

Developed fracturing operations in Ukraine for conventional and unconventional oil and gas potential. As Technical Director I was in charge of drilling completions and production for 30 mmcf/day producing company.

Key Achievements:

•Developed an engineering staff of local Ukrainian engineers and worked with Ukrainian service companies to perform acid and sand fracturing operations

•Initiated HWC (snubbing operations) with modern equipment which was not recognized by the regulatory bodies of Ukraine until 2012

•Initiated DST Procedures and developed a process for approval to flow a DST to surface in Ukraine

2006-2011 ColMac Resources Management

Consulting on Completion Operations in India and Drilling and Completions in Ukraine

Contract Management of Drilling and Completions Operations for Gastem and Gastem USA in Quebec, Canada and New York State. This included air drilling and evaluation of various shale and sand reservoirs in the Appalachian region and included a continuous interface with the local geologists and regulatory groups within the two areas. Completed drilling operations on the evaluation of Utica and Marcellus test wells in Quebec, and New York State. Fracture tested 3 Utica wells in Quebec and 1 in New York State. Contracted supervisors for fracturing Bakken oil in North Dakota and Saskatchewan.

2004-2006 Strike Petroleum Ltd., Calgary, Alberta, Canada President

Managing all facets of a junior oil and gas company from raising team building, exploration and risk review through monitoring and review of drilling, completions and production practices. The company was established as a private entity in 2004 and gained a public listing as Strike Petroleum in November 2004. Initial production was 64 boepd growing to a current rate of 700 boepd with limited capital commitment.

1997-2005 Fire Creek Resources, Ltd., Calgary, Alberta, Canada President

Directing day to day operations of Fire Creek to provide an integrated engineering and supervision service.

•Consultant co-ordination of all operations

•All facets of the operations including building a drilling engineering group and providing a safety program for smaller clients; managed a staff of three professional engineers and technical support staff

1974-1996 Halliburton Energy Services

Integrated Solutions 1989-1997

As Integrated Solutions Manager for Western Canada, I organized a team of professionals to implement heavy oil technologies including specialized logging techniques and surfactant flushes. Combined experience with clients to develop new techniques in fracturing multiple zones and developing acidizing chemical combinations that would control 10,000 ppm ferrous iron.

Computer fracture modeling and optimizing frac design for multinational companies across western Canada in tight gas and sand shale reservoirs.

Specific job designs that improved customer results were:

• Co-developing a patent to shutoff gas migration in a cement column

• Applying enzymes to reduce mud filter cake damage in open hole horizontal wells

• Fracture modelling to maintain frac height within the reservoir

1974-1989 Supervisor and Manager

Supervised fracturing services and established industry standards for working with high pressure nitrogen and CO2 systems on to the initial applications, coaching, and supervision of the flow backs. Career progressed through fracturing, cementing and coiled tubing departments to frac supervision. Managed Halliburton pumping crews on blowouts on 3 different wild well control projects in Western Canada.
